That is a different kind of thing then nda, the fan on the TDV6 runs direct from the engine it is not an electric version.

I have a FFRR also which does this whenever the car is cold (not upon each startup). If you watch the Tach when starting the engine when it's completely cooled, the revs to to 1, then settle down to an almost stall at 0.3 or so, then rev up to 1.5 (sounds like some sort of auto-choke), and in 10-15 secs, settles down to normal idle at 1.
