United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Cairns Blue

From experience, I can tell you that the first time time fitting them is somewhat awkward and a bit time consuming, like all things Land Rover, the instructions are usually crappy and a bit like Egyptian hieroglypics, what with all the symbols and no written guidance, and you have to be patient, particularly when figuring out where to run the elastic straps from front to back. However, they are excellent covers, and will keep all kinds of crumbs and dirt off your seats...

I've found some easy channels under the seat frame to run the elastic strap, and once you figure it out, putting them on again is a piece of cake, should not take more than 15 minutes a side.

Careful on removing the seat rests...just to make sure you don't pull out the plastic column into which the seat poles rest...no damage done if it occurs, but you want to ensure you don't rip the leather by accident.

Expensive...yes indeed...not only the seat covers, but the car in which seats go too! Ha ha. Very Happy Very Happy PJPR

HAHAHA!!! Laughing

Once more question: do you have to take the front headrest off in order to put them? I am asking because I do have screens in the back of the front headrest which means I can't take them off due to the cable running inside the seat... Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Indeed...as mentioned above...

Well, I did remove my headrests, because I don't have the RSE, it makes it a lot easier to install the covers on the headrests, but it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to remove them to install the actual seat cover...otherwise you are SOL since you have to slip the cover over the back and it positions right over the holes where the poles go into the seat.

I assume you will be able to at least raise the headrests to a position where you can get your hand in from both sides to pull the covers together so the velcro straps can meet neatly, and more importantly to slide the seat cover over the holes where the poles go in...probably a good idea to check this first.

Doesn't the RSE cable extend enough to be able to remove the headrests at all? If not, that would be a real defective design, it means that all RSE owners can't install seat covers...somewhow I doubt it, but anything is possible.

Good luck...Cheers. Very Happy PJPR

Unless LR sell a different design of cover for front seats with RSE in the headrestraint........

Jimmy, just check with your dealer before you open any packaging, there may be a seperate part number for seats with RSE. I don't have an uptodate accessory list so cannot help, but you may also find it on the Land Rover website in the RRS accessories section 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thank you guys for your replies!!! Will double check with the dealer.

Was hoping that the seat cover would just "slide" on top of the actual seat...

Will let you know. Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6
