Ash tray lid issue resolved, additional light as a result!

Dealer fixed the ash tray cover which had not been inclined to close. Problem identified as being caused by a wiring harnass which was too close and impeding the locking/closing mechanism. New ashtray housing installed and cured another fault which had not even been apparent to me.
There is now siginifcant light in the ashtray compartment at night, where I previously had just a soft glow. Seems that the original ash tray light was positioned incorrectly. 2011 BMW X3 35i Carbon Black

Swiftly and with style!!!
