There is a sensor on the underside for the suspension.................. it will give you an extra 2" of suspension height (you cannot control it) if the car senses that offroad it is will get "hung up" with all 4 wheels flapping in the breeze! I would not have thought parking in a field would have set it off though. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I get this too when I drive up to my electric gates and stop near the underground sensor! Whilst the gates open the beep gos, and no I not too close to the opening gates for the front parking sensors to go off. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
