Dash compatability

Hi folks

Anyone happen to know if an early d4 dash would
Fit a pre facelift l320. My dash is cracked and all the ones I find at a reasonable price seem
To have the same Issue.

I can pickup an early d4 dash with a leather top eh oh won’t suffer the same fate for a decent price but unsure if the instrument cluster from my l320 will fit into it as the d4 has a different cluster.

Can anyone offer any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
Jon

The D4 dash leather top panel is the same as the facelift L320 as I have changed one, and the new panel actually said L319 which is the code for the D4, parts list gives the same part number for both as well. Looking at part numbers it would appear the D3 top panel is the same as the pre-facelift 2005-2009 Sport.

Cheers

Cheers @col

This is what I thought. I was hoping that perhaps, although it’s not the same part, that the later panel from the D4 or later model rrsport would fit though. I notice that the later model seem to have the top side vent built into the front vent trim but on an early d4 I was looking at it had the same smaller top side air vent.

I’ll keep digging, thanks for the response and info on the part numbers. At least I know for sure if I find a d3 one that it will fit. Smile
