I replaced the cable and disc, with taking the ridge off the circumference, without the calliper and adjusted the shoes up , and now get a park brake on the rear right , it looks lke I now need to aadjust up the left rear now which was fine for test but out now. I wa under the thought that the shoes were self adjusting , therefore leading me down the wrong path !
Oh , I have the GAP IID TOOL, in service test it just looks like it unjams ? Confusing to me , I also have a pretty standard Autel , but it does do electronic park service , will have to try it .
So got it passed, although working now but a lot less pressure on offside
(original failure}. I am thinking that the the shoes are at their limit as in the drum wear , so unable to reach the correct tolerance .
Can anyone help me in my diagnosing.
