United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green
Auto lights on in daylight

Hi, very recent owner of a 2010 TDV8 in Galway Green. What a beast by the way. Wife has a 71 l494 3.0 and I much prefer the tdv8 Laughing

Has anyone else had this problem with the auto lights being on all the time? Even in perfect daylight.
After a little search I am thinking could be to do with the sensor on windscreen? Wipers work perfectly when there’s rain.

Seen a few sensors second hand on eBay which could be worth a go but it’s the connecting to the glass I’m unsure about. I do have one or two bubbles where the sensor is I can see on the windshield could that be the issue?

Also rear interior lights and boot light do not come on when rear doors open. They work with buttons. Yet to check boot bulb will get onto that.

Thanks in advance
Ashley

Someone may have enabled Canada daylime lights. If the main beams don’t work when switch is off, that is probably the case.

The rear roof lights sadly don’t come on with doors. There is a mod for that, with a diode each side and tap off the boot light

Do they come on as soon as ignition switched on? as could be set to "Scandinavian" in the CCF files, as dipped headlight come on as soon as engine is started, If I remember right "Canadian" setting light's don't come on until engine started, drive engaged and park brake released.

Cheers
Col
