Bonnet not full latching on one side

My nearside bonnet catch doesn’t seem to be fully holding down the bonnet. I can lift it approx 1cm when the bonnet is closed but just on the one side.

Can this be adjusted out ?

Mine does this now and again. It's the sprung toggle that should latch the hook but doesn't move fully. Free it up by manipulating it with a suitable bit of metal, lubricate and then monitor it. The offending part of the one nearest the wing. It doesn't reset correctly so doesn't hold the catch when it tries to engage. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
