360 Camera SVR

I can see on the build list on the SVR I’m getting has both Camera Systems REAR VIEW CA
MERA and Forward Facing Camera.

I asked the dealer to send a photo of the car in reverse but cannot see the 360 option, I'm told some updates have caused 360 to disappear.

Is 360 standard on 2018 SVR facelifts? Or was it an optional extra?

If I have forward facing camera does it mean I have 360 capability?

Thanks

Just found out front facing is not a camera as such, just scans the road ahead for the emergency stop city brake.

Am guessing retrofitting 360 cameras is expensive?

I doubt it’s standard.

It needs cameras in the door mirror covers, facing down

You will probably never use them. Had them on my previous Sport, probably used them twice. Much like Auto parking, never used. If retrofit from JLR, very expensive I would imagine Big Cry Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

I'm with Lindab, never use it, had 360 and auto park on old L405, only ever used autopark to see if it worked. My SVR has 360 cams which thwn does it's fancy stuff and gives a top down view. I only use the reverse view really and wouldn't be bothered if the feature want there Current

360 degree cameras are probably only really worth having if you go off road or habitually navigate in tight spaces/narrow roads between lots of parked cars, kerbs, etc., where knowing exactly where the tyres and corners are will save expensive mistakes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

My old L320 has them, no doubt outdated compared to current system, only ever used them a handful of times in 12 years, and then only to have the rear camera on all the time to keep a eye on a trailer when towing one, or just to see if they still work.

Cheers
