suspension lowers then go back to normal height

I'm having a bad month with my car.
2010 RRS 3.0L diesel
I have posted two other queries. hope someone can assist with them for me.
Put the car in the garage today for a quick survey in readiness for a upcoming repair. I lowered the suspension and when the car got to it's lowest position, it raised back to normal by itself. Tried several times and it kept raising on each occasion.
Anyone know what is causing this and fix if possible?
thanks

Hi
Had similar suspicions faults with my sport over the years
Either faulty height sensors or wiring making the car think it’s hit something / run a ground when it’s lowering so then it automatically rises to clean the supposes object or it’s compressor exhaust valve not letting the air out the system quick enough or one of the three valve blocks also not letting air out quick enough making the car think it’s hit something.

Best thing is read the fault codes and see where it points you 2017-Discovery 5 TDV6 HSE
