2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Nara Bronze

suspension lowers then go back to normal height

I'm having a bad month with my car.
2010 RRS 3.0L diesel
I have posted two other queries. hope someone can assist with them for me.
Put the car in the garage today for a quick survey in readiness for a upcoming repair. I lowered the suspension and when the car got to it's lowest position, it raised back to normal by itself. Tried several times and it kept raising on each occasion.
Anyone know what is causing this and fix if possible?
