Hi All
I've sneaked in through the back door because I don't have a RRS. I do however (for my sins) run a L405 which is a close relative.
I saw a couple of interesting posts on this site and thought I would join in.
Cheers.

Hi, joined today as I’m looking for information on the 2014 onwards RRS model to aid my purchase. Usually had Alfa Romeo’s and BMWs but fancy a change. Thankyou.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Alaska White

Hello

I have a RRS L320 Autobiography and love it to bits

I’ve had it about 18 months now, but have had to stand her for about four months due to surgery, have had to take battery off to recharge, when I reconnected the radio is now upside down and back to front?
I’ve tried disconnecting the negative on the battery for 20 minutes for a hard reset but it hasn’t worked, any ideas?

Best regards

Hello there!

SEO Web Marketing Geek, writer, photographer & electron juggler from the wilds of Merseyside here.

Just got my L320, rather like it. A change from my V70 that someone reversed into, writing it off Censored

Working my way through it. Previous owner wasn't too savvy about changing bulbs. Both numberplate lights had blown and they'd obviously previously pinched the luggage space light bulb to get it going (I notice a past MOT has a failed numberplate light on it Laughing )

The rear wiper was loose on the spindle, a nice easy fix for once. Slow puncture fixed, missing dust caps replaced and I finally managed to get the service menu to display the oil level - had to Google that one!

No fault codes but it does have the yellow triangle & adaptive dynamics fault showing so I'm hoping it's the wiring as that seems pretty common - one to check in daylight!

So here I am, get used to the daft questions that are bound to follow!

After several weeks of searching I finally made the decision to 'return to the fold' by acquiring my fourth Range Rover vehicle.

Despite owning a progression of RR variants, (starting with a rather dilapidated P38, followed by a 2007 FFRR and then a 2010 RRS TDV8 3.5 Autobiography), it would appear that I still haven't learned my lesson as I now have a rather smart looking L494 RRS SDV8 4.4 Autobiography sitting on my drive.

It appears to be in excellent condition, (inside and outside), and everything appears to be working too other than the lack of 12v at the two 12v power sockets, (both located in between the front seats - one in the cupboard holder compartment and the other in the cubby with the 'fridge' and the various audio and USB sockets).

A quick check of the owner handbook gave me the fuse number, (possibly fuse 52 in the glove compartment fuse box), and, sure enough, the fuse was blown.

That was the simple bit as I was shocked, (no pun intended), to note that the fuse box is accessed via a small aperture cut in the steel plate behind the glove compartment and the actual fuse box was located a further 8 inches towards the firewall!

Therefore access is quite limited and, (once you insert your hand through the access hole), you can't see what you are doing and have to rely on a combination of memory and touch!

I managed to extract the blown fuse, (and then insert a new one), without dropping it down into the abyss!

I chose to use a pair of forceps to hold the fuse when extracting it, (more secure than the plastic tweezer that sits patiently in its parking bay waiting to be used), but I found it easier to hold the new fuse in my fingers when inserting it back into its socket.

I am hoping that will be all that I will have to do to the vehicle, (for a few days at least), and I have yet to plug my iCarsoft Scanner in just to see what, (if any), errors are logged in the various systems.

Fingers crossed!
