Tyre size change

Have at the moment 255/55/18 on my 09 2.7v6 RRS, will the Bridgestone 265/60/18 fit directly on my rims with no rubbing as there's a chap selling 5 tyres for £100 near new here in NZ. Cheers

I run 275/45 x 21" rim/tyres which are a very similar overall diam. to 265/60 x 18" 781mm for 275 and 775mm for the 265's and have no clearance/rubbing issues and that is with slightly lowered suspension as well, so don't think they would be a problem with clearance, but as you probably have 8J x 18" rims if they are original L/R one's, not really sure whether the 265 may be little wide, as personally not sure what max recommended width tyre is for a 8J rim.

Cheers

Have just found out via google search that the min rim is 7.5 inch and Max is 9.5 inches for the 265 60 18 tyres to fit. My rims being 8 inches.
