yeh saw that - dont really use the sync function much as the Mrs has her side on at about 29c and mine is about 21c lol.

Did you find a way to flash the ccf with GAP at all?

The car is going in for an HVAC repair - according to them, one of the blend motors is not working properly.

They will try to update the software, will report back. --

Hi everyone, First post.
I’ve just ordered one off eBay which came today, was advertised as GPLA-18A802-DH from a MY17 but the part number is HPLA-18A802-DC.
Does anyone know if this will work, or should I send it back?

Just checked that part number and it has the little square led screens within the 3 circlular heat knobs, but I think its from a L405.
I haven't seen anyone use this part yet but I can't see a problem as the L405 and l494 use the same HVAC system.
If youve already ordered it then give it a go but if it doesn't work then resell it on Ebay and but the GPLA part number.

PS You need the engine running when you test it, It won't work with just the ignition on.

Thanks Karlp606, yes when I scanned the qr code it came up L405. Think I’ll try it and see. I can always send it back as the seller did advertise it as GPLA.
It’s definitely 2017 and the buttons push in, so should work

Just to update, this part number HPLA 18A802DC didn’t work for me, had no screen and error messages on dash, blind spot monitoring inactive, charging system faulty 🤷‍♂️

Send it back as faulty and purchase the GPLA part number.

I sent back the wrong one and managed to get the right one off eBay for £60, all done. Decent simple upgrade

Car has been in the shop since Monday: they fitted the new blend motors, but cannot intialise them because of the software mismatch I see since the upgrade: https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post611088.html#611088

Has anyone had issues with rear climate controls after doing this upgrade?

I did the update a few weeks ago and the heated seats and front climate all work fine (including the sync function across the two front zones), however when put the interior back together this evening, I noticed the rear climate panel is non functioning.

Nothing is showing on the rear controls, and when I can’t control it from the touch screen in the front either.

The part I fitted was: GPLA-18A802-DH

Update: working fine today, it’s fixed itself!
