Wiper blades rubbish

Hi all
So almost a year of ownership and 13k miles travelled. Very impressed with performance and economy. Would guess around 70% of those miles on engine. Is there a way of telling apart from scrolling through app?
Had it serviced recently which was oil and fliter - very expensive. Asked them to replace wipers as they are rubbish and leave an area just to left of field of vision smeared. New wipers are just as bad. Anyone else having any issues? 2024 Firenza Red P460e Dynamic SE

clean the screen with a claybar. Clean the blades also (not claybar) Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

I also use Rain X on the screen. Above 40mph, the rain blows off the screen. Below 40mph you only need the occasional flick wipe to clear the screen. I reapply every few weeks Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

I use the RainX screen wash. 5L premixed from Halfords, poured straight in to the reservoir. Occasional use of Autoglym Fast Glass if/when a stubborn mark appears.

Works well and means at speed wipers aren't necessary except in heavy rain / motorway spray.

But the OP needs to just give the screen a good clean - Fast Glass does a good job of removing road grime. Don't forget to give the blades a wipe too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Just had my D350 serviced at 15K - overshot the 10k because they had no loan cars for months - service was fixed price £527 - a lot for an oil and filter change - but made the mistake of asking for new front wiper blades - which took the price to £601! Must be the worlds most expensive wiper blades at. £37 each! If I’d known how expensive they were going to be I’d have gone to Halfords and got the same Bosch ones for probably £37 for both of them! Lesson learned. In answer to the post, yes they had degraded in performance, the new ones are noticeably better but I also use RainEx screen wash and it’s pretty effective - also use it on the mirrors and it keeps these clean in wet weather as well. Out of interest Marshall Motor Group in Melton Mowbray have lost the Land Rover franchise recently

£527 for first service! Wow, got mine fixed at main dealer that have been around for years at £250. Same D350 ATB.

10k service interval? Really? That's very short by modern standards. Yikes! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Apparently the MY24 cars have 10k service intervals

But it looks like they didn’t change the oil despite charging me £214 for 11L of Castrol Edge Professional - I know diesel oil goes black fast but not after only 6 miles?

It does - very quickly. I would doubt very much they didn’t change it.

Remove the oil filter and see if they replaced it. SW
