Hi, I thought the walk away and approached unlocking was the keyless entry initially. Made to figure out how to disable keyless entry by pressing the headlights button 3 times and unlock button once on the key fob. So whenever I'm near the car with the key in my pocket, door doesn't open unless I physically use the key fob and press unlock button.

Yeah that was how I unlock initially before I disabled keyless entry. so now i have to use key fob to unlock and lock since disabling keyless entry as it doesn't work anymore when I'm near the car.

Currently have a Mazda which allows key to be powered down when not used by a button sequence - I can’t find instructions to do this with RRS key

Tested by Powerful U.K. and looks like a good option to send the key fob to sleep after 3 mins of being stationary. Wakes up when moved again …
