Has anyone fitted a plug and play upgrade to the standard JLR reverse camera? Looking for something with 720p resolution to crisp up the image…

After a reasonable bit of searching there doesn’t seem to be any budget friendly aftermarket 720p compatible direct fit cameras. Can’t believe given how small they are how much they cost. Unless someone’s able to find a supplier??? Forced to stay standard (which I’m never comfortable with)

Don't know the year of your motor, but I think the cameras were improved at some point. I have a 2017 using Incontrol Pro and I'm sure it is better than the earlier one (from what I've seen on Youtube). Mine is not bad but not a patch on the very latest ones with Pivi Pro.
Might be worth investigating and see if you can get a later one fitted, if you have a pre 66 plate.

Hi Turdmon my thinking of aftermarket compatibility was OEM is pricey AF but there doesn’t seem to be products I can find competitively. Even PUK are £500 each for 360 cameras. It’s a nice to have so I’ll park it until something emerges…
