Congratulations! I’m on my 2nd RRS, my first was a 2012 and now a 2015. I’ve had this for almost 8 years which even I admit is a ridiculous amount of time to keep a car. My previous record was 2 years with a Vauxhall Calibre (I loved that car too). That’s how good these cars are (to me anyway) . I have a wobble every now and again and have a look at what I could replace it with and there is nothing out there that matches spec and comfort without spending another £50K and then it’s probably not as high spec as my car so it’s not an option. Enjoy your new car. |

I am on my second first a 2014 owned for 2 years longer than any other car. Only issue was a failed caliber motor £25 to fix.

I’ve come from nothing but hot hatches and tuned performance cars. As in Golf R, RS3s and M2 and currently have an M4 Comp so I’m used to fairly quick cars and for a big bus the SDV8 shifts. Can say for sure you won’t regret getting one. At your mileage I would keep an eye out for the oil cooler gaskets starting to weep oil into the V. I’ve had a few niggles with mine, small ones like oil cooler gaskets and parking break actuators, so small stuff for the most part. The only big ticket item so far is the rear diff failing. Regardless I wouldn’t change it for anything else yet. |

Will get the oil cooler gasket checked for sure and am hoping to do differential oils myself when I'm ready to lie underneath it in the wet... no garage .... and as nick900 and yourself say they are a different thing to the others and a nice place to be. No regrets so far |

Depending on millage do make sure you change fluids on diffs, transfer case, gearbox inc filter. Will protect the longevity. |
