1st range rover sport

Hi all and apologies if I've posted in the wrong section. After years of bmw X5's I've taken the plunge and bought my first rrs. It's a 2017 4.4sdv8 autobiography (2nd gen) with 69k and both main dealership and indi specialist history. With the rapid depreciation in the last couple of years and the fact that this vehicle cost almost 90k new in my eyes it was a no brainer to go for it... X5's have issues, all manufacturers have issues and if i have issues with this then so be it, I'll deal with it. You have to drive what you want right and if I'd have listened to everyone who thought i was mad taking on an audi quattro years ago or X5's and indeed this V8 then I would never have had the fun I've had.... anyway I have only had it a week and drove it 450 miles home with no complaints, silly noises, squeaks etc and very surprising fuel economy which was a bonus, but the biggest bonus and surprise by far was the last 100 miles on a B road in dynamic and manual...... the sound and rate at which this thing gets up the road without any fuss or drama is staggering!!!..... so for all the people on this forum who i have previously seen recommending the V8 THANKYOU....... and i don't mean any disrespect to V6 owners, pros and cons, drove both and V6 feels more nimble around the front with lighter engine, just wanted to try a V8 and see. So first job is dynamic response fluid and then oil change in 2k miles which will be 6k since last one as recommended. Hopefully be able to get advice from you lot and looking forward to being an RRS owner 😀

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Zambezi Silver

Congratulations! I’m on my 2nd RRS, my first was a 2012 and now a 2015. I’ve had this for almost 8 years which even I admit is a ridiculous amount of time to keep a car. My previous record was 2 years with a Vauxhall Calibre (I loved that car too). That’s how good these cars are (to me anyway) . I have a wobble every now and again and have a look at what I could replace it with and there is nothing out there that matches spec and comfort without spending another £50K and then it’s probably not as high spec as my car so it’s not an option. Enjoy your new car.
