Thanks for that, I’ve got a tear/nick in my passenger seat back(about 30mm) been told I need a new seat cover.

Great if it fixes the problem, however there is also a know issue with the electric seat mechanism, that can cause the same thing. Apparently the mechanism can move by a millimetre or two under acceleration or braking. The solution is to remove the seat base, and adjust one side of the winder. See here ...

There was a TSB for this but it was many years ago now. My first 2008 RRS had the problem. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I have the same thing with my 2019 SVR, body weight transfer or my legs pushing into the cushion seems to make the cushion move with a slight clunk, so being an SVR with less padding in the seats Im assuming it’s the same issue, but that said I have felt it when braking hard so maybe it’s both, its is a Range Rover after all |
