Trying to get a list of the top 5 (and only 5!) most common RRS issues. Might help when you go to your dealer and they tell you your problem is unique! If we get enough responses, I will compile some stats and post back. I'll start the ball rolling in the following format;

Low Power Mode for the Radio/Sound System when the engine is off! I can't believe I have to turn on the engine to get full volume.

You're forgetting that the P38 was around in those halcyon days of when we were allowed to do what we want. Not the same anymore, is it?

My car has just been serviced and appears to be running pretty well Some of my gripes are perhaps aimed at overall improvements/suggestions.

Most annoying problem so far is during heavy rain the windscreen wipers sweep all the water off the screen and down the drivers window making it impossible to see the wingmirror (pretty scary on the motorway) Even my old series 2 disco had mouldings to prevent this! |

Woolie, I suffered exactly this problem last Wednesday in heavy rain and driving down the M6. I couldn't see anything in the door mirror because of the airflow round the A pillar. Help is at hand though as you can get an aerofoil perspex deflector that fits from many of the after market suppliers for parts of Land Rovers. Try these guys http://www.climair.co.uk/ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

cheers tim - are they unobtrusive? I mean, they won't make me look like an old pleb? I've seen Range Rovers with wind deflectors, towing caravans driven by Victor bleeding Meldrew! |
