I am new on here last post i did was when my crank snapped and i got it sorted by Tony at Global Engines back in oct 2022 after finding him on here.
I now have the above code P1247 and vehicle going into restricted mode after about two miles each journey this clears after about 10 mins. Then comes back when setting of again at about two miles on.
there is no smoke or smell the exhaust are very clean and after doing 500 mile round trip over the weekend this has occurred next day.
The turbo used to howl a bit before for the last couple of years and then monday morning before it started playing up the noise went and the car really performed well until that evening when leaving work it played up and has every day since.
Any suggestions please would be very helpfull.

Hi unfortunatley the Turbo sucked the oil through and the engine ran away with its self it will still run but undersidered if i want to spend £5k having new turbos fitted on a vehicle only worth about £6k. It is still a lovely car and i enjoy driving it i have already had a replacemnet recon engine fitted as the crank snapped just under two years ago. the engine has only done approx 20,000 miles. would like to find someone who could do turbos for me for about £2k then i may get it repaired.
