Is it definetly connected to incontrol?

Yes it’s connected to Incontrol in the app/website, but can’t login in the car in the navigation section, it does have the previous owner recognised so I tried register rather than login, but then it said data connection needed to register.

No I hoped to connect to my phone hotspot or my house wifi, is that the issue, it’s not possible?

Not sure that helps, I definitely have an active Incontrol account, and navigation account, but can’t login to either in the vehicle because it needs an internet connection, which I can’t establish via external wifi and dont have a SIM card to try.

One thing I noticed on the “about” section of the connectivity was the MAC & IEMI addresses were blanked out with dots rather than being visible, is this normal, is a “reset” required? |

Went out and got one this morning, activated it, git the confirmation it was active, inserted it, just says “mobile data not available”

Have you tried using CarPlay? Then you can use Google maps or Waze and do not need any Land Rover subscriptions.
