Thailand 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Arctic Frost
change the new instrument cluster

Hi everyone,

I need help. so stress. Y_Y
I am using the RRS 2007 TD V8 3.6 HSE

So, my instrument cluster has not good now, so I think I would like to change it.

then I am trying to find the part number and bought the new (used one) in ebay I got it then let my technician changed but the car can not start after that I found I bought the wrong part number

mine is Y502190 but I bought Y502560

then my technic replace back to the original one (Y502190) but now the car still cannot start.

So I just bought in ebay again in the same part number (Y502190)

the question is do I need to reprogram the new (used one) again ??
if yes , anyone have any program recommended?

anyway I live in Bangkok.

please kindly advise me.
thanks in advance

It contains the imboliser code, so it would need programming to match your key etc.

Sometimes you can purchase complete kits off ebay containing:

instruments
engine ecu
BpM (internal fusebox)
key
locks

I notice some of those are for a Vogue, so don't order one of these with the wrong looking dash

Might be easier purchasing a Gap tool and reprogram the system

complete kit sounds like a solid option if you can't find a way to program it.

Seriously, you need to pull codes to see what's really happening. We assume it's dash related, and in all probability it is. But then, can we be sure without pulling those DTCs.
