Photo of the two piece replacement backplates you can buy in the States, unfortunately don't think you can get them in the U.K unless you ship them in. Might help with where to cut them if you went that route.

It's not a world of pain. Just need the hub removed and the bearing pressed out and in again |

DM, have you been able to press out a rear wheel bearing and not murder it? I just changed one of my rear wheel bearings and if it wasn’t trash when I started it certainly was when I got it out. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
