Sun roof stuck open

First day of week trip in the UK and faced with a stuck open sun roof
It slides to close but at 5cm of closing opens up again to mid point.
Trying to close again it goes forward and back few centimetres and again when at 5cm of closing opens again to midpoint.
Roadside assistance stopped by and worked on it for 45’ and could not solve it

Annoying - RRS MY24 with 4K miles Sad
And stuck now with a €100K+ like the attached picks (if they manage to upload)

I’m at LA22 0LQ and was thinking of trying to contact Kentdale Land Rover
I’m here for a week so hope they could fix it

Any ideas on the issue or the “try to fix it”-solution (ie contacting Kentdal)?

Thank you forum Bow down
Koen

Bad luck. Have you tried Land Rover Assist? I would try that first. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

Sounds like calibration - have you tried global close and checked the iGuide? There is a reset procedure

I have called LR assist and send a technician- tried to find a solution for 45’ without luck
Called out to 2 LR service centers but very strict on not having possibility to look at it. (Not even faintest effort Sad

I have not tried the global reset - will look for it!
Thanks

Hi all
made it back - drove 1000km with an open roof (thank you Land Rover)

For those interested - the motor of the roof mechanism broke (seems not uncommon) and because of that, when closing, the roof comes down to soon and the rails hit the fixed glass part of the panoramic roof. With the rails on the glass roof the roof will never close fully.
So now; broken mechanism and broken glass panoramic roof.

A big shout out and thank you !!! to Ryland Land Rover in Stoke on Trent.
I showed up asking for some help - the service person went to find a mechanic, came out - had a look, took the car back to the workplace and (was apologetic that it could not be fixed) managed to close it as much as possible.
This on comparison to Land Rover Lakedale and Kentdale where they did not even bother to understand the problem at service reception!

Safe driving
Koen
