Nevermind the styling, with this new linked hydraulic system, the handling will be mega!

That would be a great system off road, too, but I doubt it would ever make it on to the "normal" versions. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Carbon Fibre wheels? They'll handle pot holes well |

Spoke to my dealer about these SV’s. LR declined many of the first names put forward for the first slots. As it is these are £160k & with carbon bits the first orders submitted we’re coming in at £190k+

As I understand it, Edition One is a test bed for the price point. The ‘regular’ SV L461 is likely to be in the region of £150k ‘basic’.

I read that the bonnet vents are fake. That's disappointing. LR are going for this "reductive" design language but still fit fake vents on the bonnet.

Amazing! Are you able to choose between the three or are you allocated a particular one? Is there much customisation available? |

The L461 is heavier than the L494 in every trim. I agree, they missed an opportunity to carry over the bonnet vents from the L494. There is still something too bulbous about the new shape for me but the RRS SV at least gets me closer to appreciating the new shape compared to the L494 SVR. 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE |

Do the earlier SVRs have the same tyre size all round? This new one has wider rear tyres than front:
Interesting that it's going to be RWD when in a special road mode. I wonder if it brings the fronts back in if it's a slippery / DSC kicks in. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
