Many thanks for the reply MHSPORT08, did I mention that the Drivers side front strut has pink pen wrote on tdv8, has Continental stickers on it, could this have different damping rates to what looks like the original passenger side. |

Personally I wouldn't run different manufactures of shocks and airbags across each axle (a bit like not mixing tyres across Left and Right on the same axle)

Well, looked for air leak and it didn't take me long, I remember the previous owner said he put it in to a well known Suspension specialist, begins with P ends in S. As you can see by the photos the bracket for the heat shield wasn't even fitted correctly which was interfering with the brass coupling, ohh I removed one of the nuts from the three securing nuts,, ended up removing the strut and refitting the brass union into the top and refitting it, rebuilt tested all good, ohh and it's definitely had a second hand air bag strut fitted. I will change these at a later date Coz I'm sure I can feel the front suspension,, when braking hard loading up at different rates. There has to be a difference in rebound settings between SVD8 and SDV6.
