Brake fluid question

Hi folks,

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

I've noticed that my O/S rear caliper is sticking, so I'm going to replace it next week.

With regards to brake fluid, I'm assuming I should be using DOT 4 but should I be using normal or synthetic.

I use DOT 5 silicone fluid in my Triumph Stag and know that you shouldn't mix types.

What did LR use from new ?

Many thanks 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE Galway Green

Do not use Dot 5 fluid, either Dot 4 or 5.1, I used 5.1 when I did a complete fluid change as has slightly higher spec. than Dot 4.

Cheers
