I have a 2007 RRS S/C and it drives great. Yesterday I drove a late 2012 RRS SDV6 and steering felt lighter and more responsive compared to my car where the steering feels heavier. Is that normal between the two cars or does my steering need looking at?

normal. have a go in a 494 next & the 2012 will feel heavy.

I just thought the L320’s would all drive the same but guess I am wrong.

There are proably a few variables really like brand and tyre pattern, tyre pressures, has the power steering oil ever been changed etc,etc. could try a bit of wd40 on the steering shaft u/j's but would have thought with u/j's steering would be a bit stiff. Can't really remember if I noticed any difference between my old pre-facelift and facelift L320 cars.

As Col mentioned check the knuckle on your steering linkage from wheel column to the rack.They do seize up and get tight .I make sure mine is well greased up with white grease in my case sprayed it into the Joint.

Thank you Col, thank you Iomegas. I will try your suggestions and see how that goes. I was just curious if anyone had noticed a difference in steering between the pre-facelift and facelift or if RR had made any changes to improve the steering in the facelift?
