Tow-hitch problem - replacing key barrel

Range Rover 2006 Sport. The key barrel on the removable tow-hitch needs replacing (key will not turn fully allowing the two-hitch to be offer up and put in a position). The tow-hitch is not on the car, its on my work bench. I cannot find anything online as to how to take the barrel out? I am presuming that removing (but it wont budge) the screw on the reverse side of the key side will allow the barrel to be removed? Is is that easy?!? Andrew Kennedy

You need to knock out the roll pin passing through the handle, it will then pull away with the barrel as one unit.

You can obtain a replacement from LR if you can't free off the barrel.

Hope this helps!
