Thought it was about time I wrote aswell as reading everybody else's thoughts. Been in my local dealer been told I can have one of first delivery onTDV8 sport late december, if I want to be fussy about colours need to wait for factory order be here early feb.
Had a day long shot in TDV8 Vogue, WOW Go where I want Knot Where I'm Told !!!!!!

Hello again all,

Sorry for the long absence – took the family on a bit of an extended holiday for 6 months. Mrs M wasn’t having any IT fiddling when we were away so, while my phone eventually melted I didn’t really have time to get onto RRS.co.uk .

We took the TDV6 down through southern Europe and back across northern Africa. It’s now on its third set of tires but at 43k on the odo it’s still remarkably fresh. The valet that it had over the last 48 hours sorted everything out and the fuel consumption has averaged 26.1 since new (never been reset). The turbo chipped motor has been fine even on slightly dodgy fuel, it just smoked a bit on the odd tank full but otherwise seemed ok.

Glad to see the forum is even stronger and that VA is as productive as ever. I will be back to posting again as usual now but am picking up my TDV8 next week I think, as soon as I do I’ll post pictures and stuff.

PS. VA I will send that video from Salisbury maybe before Christmas! 11 XFR
