Thanks Scrumps - I followed your steer and went to trackershop UK. Waiting to hear from them about installation. I need a gearbox interrupt as I have the remote start 🤞🤞 |

Had mine fit by Safe and Sound in Manchester via my main dealer, they do a lot for the local LR garages so was happy they know what they are doing. I just had an issue with the latest over the air update, the ghost was blocking it but they are resolving it next week. My only irritation is they sometimes don’t respond and it takes longer to set off, no good if your driving it as a getaway car. —————————————— 2023 - P460e AB, Borasco Grey 2022 - P400 HST, Carpathian Grey |

Thanks - I wasn’t aware they interfered with SOTA updates.. that’s a worry. How are they resolving? |

They are removing it, updating it and then reinstalling it. Luckily it is all covered via the dealer. ——————————————

Great they are sorting it - but this is making me very nervous about having it installed. Does it have to be removed for every SOTA? The updates coming fast and furious at the moment (with v 4, 4.01 and 4.1 around the corner bringing new features and as mine not done at dealer would need to pay each time if it has to be removed!

I have spent a bunch of time reviewing all the chatter about RRS being nicked and how immobilisers fix the problem (apart from lifting).

Thanks MikeG very interesting read. I think the way thieves are trying to get round the UWB is to physically cut into the CAN via a hole in the rear bumper and tapping into the wiring to open doors and ignition?

I won’t know until this one is sorted, I suppose I am in a different position with the dealer fitting it. I have the ability to go back to them. —————————————— 2023 - P460e AB, Borasco Grey 2022 - P400 HST, Carpathian Grey |
