I do not think it is supposed to, this would not make any sense to connect simultaneously via carplay and BT. Once you are in carplay, you have all the benefits of a bluetooth connection (and some more).

Hi. Thanks for yoyreu. It is meant to do both and has done. But every time I take it to dealer they update stuff and I loss my BT. Driving me nuts. As use both but prefer the look of pivi on Home Screen. |

You are right - it is supposed to do both and mind does in our Evoque new RRS and our previous Velar - all on Pivi pro.

I still fail to see a point with it, my other car has factory carplay as well and the only time the phone connects to BT is when another phone is already connected to carplay. And when travelling solo, even if I switch the screen to factory system to listen to broadcast radio for example, the phone keeps the carplay connection for talk or navigation and is still displayed as a communication device in factory menus. It may be your use case is different and I am lacking imagination. Regards etc., Wojtek --- WAS: 2006 RRS Supercharged IS: 2010 RRS TDV8 HSE |
