hi is any body else having issues with the blue tooth connection in their new 2023 model sport mine will only connect to the CarPlay, but not the bluetooth at some time. works sometime but not others mostly after it comes back from dealer. had it back today after all my coolant just disappeared, didn't leak out just disappeared. Dealer had it for week none the wiser. They also have no answer for the bluetooth not connecting. any suggestions would be great ..

I do not think it is supposed to, this would not make any sense to connect simultaneously via carplay and BT. Once you are in carplay, you have all the benefits of a bluetooth connection (and some more).
If you want to connect it to BT alone and not carplay, remove it from the BT devices in the car, remove the car from BT devices in phone and pair again, this time not clicking "use with carplay". Regards etc.,

Hi. Thanks for yoyreu. It is meant to do both and has done. But every time I take it to dealer they update stuff and I loss my BT. Driving me nuts. As use both but prefer the look of pivi on Home Screen.

You are right - it is supposed to do both and mind does in our Evoque new RRS and our previous Velar - all on Pivi pro.

I think remove all devices from car and ‘forget’ car from phone in both Bluetooth, wireless and CarPlay menus. Then start again and see if it resolves. I would Censored down phone after removing devices before adding them again and also recycle ignition after deleting from car.

I still fail to see a point with it, my other car has factory carplay as well and the only time the phone connects to BT is when another phone is already connected to carplay. And when travelling solo, even if I switch the screen to factory system to listen to broadcast radio for example, the phone keeps the carplay connection for talk or navigation and is still displayed as a communication device in factory menus. It may be your use case is different and I am lacking imagination. Regards etc.,
