Tim, I'm in the same boat (no pun intended) but my 90 is 21 years old and in need of a little C & A, due to the "off road" damage, I considered the above options and decided to take the 90 off the road and make a rebuild and like yourself I work away so do not have a great deal of spare time. With this in mind I have obtained a lock-up where I can take my time and rebuild at leasure, this unfortunately means I will have to restrict myself to mild "off roading" in the RRS until the build is finished, much cheaper than a replacement vehicle?

Stick with what you have VA, you will have a long wait for any LR product to replace it!

Tim I think you should still go for the D3, have one vehicle to do both jobs. Go for a white D3 with all the off road accessories, big tyres, snorkle, roof rack, tinted windows the works.

yeh that's me but I'm going to have to get my username changed over there also so I can be Scottie on all the forums. You could try Macrae and Dick they seem to have a few new LR about the place or Frank Ogg in Elgin. |
