I looked at the filter and mine already had a hole in it, I ordered a new one anyway which came without a hole, fitted it but made no difference.

Without the filter there is a risk of crud getting in to the system and causing issues with valve blocks later down the line, I'd have thought. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

RRSTDV8,,I don’t mean for him to run it without the filter, but just to try it & see if that solves the problem. Andy.

I wouldn't let a main dealer anywhere near it. They're incompetent at the best of times, downright liabilities the rest of the time. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Under no circumstances go near a Main Dealer. Put up a post requesting recommendations for an indie around your neck of the woods. Be prepared to travel perhaps as once you've found a good one, stick with it. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

How will you do the software update, I guess take it to a specialist but at what cost? Will it be driveable without the update in order to get it to a garage? Tim
