Sounds a bit like the release cable from from the internal handle to the latch may have snapped, disconnected somehow or not refitted correctly when lock changed, not sure if the window linkage could catch the cable in someway when it went down if the cable had not been fitted/secured correctly, only a suggestion though, would need to remove door trim panel to have a look.

It it doesn't unlock with the key fob, but unlocks with the Keyless system, then its more than likely a faulty latch

The internal release lever is connected to the latch by a short bowden cable not a electrical cable, bit like a very short pushbike brake cable for want of a better description.

Thanks. Is that something I could look at ? And do you need to take whole door unit off, similar to what need to do ro replace the lock unit |

You will need to remove the door trim panel to get to it, not the whole door though |
