Hi Guys and Gals

Looking to buy a service kit for my 2006 4.2 SC
Anything i should be aware of regarding suppliers/manufacturers of said kits?
For instance are the Britpart kits ok?
I should point out i am looking at the full kits with oil and spark plugs included

The Britpart kits are fine (we use them on a daily basis in the workshop) but make sure you get the OEM version, and use a good quality 5W30 oil

That's the problem DM....there is so much choice regarding the oils, the kit i'm looking at has Rock oil, other kits have Miller oil or QX or Castrol....if they all match the spec required whats the difference?? 2015 L494 SDV6 3.0 HSE Loire Blue

Out of those, I'd go for Castrol

While they all meet the required spec, not all oils are equal

Used to use Shell oils, then we moved to Comma

Ok.....seen a kit with Comma oil, what about Mannol, any good?

Apparently...

Mannol oil used at factory fill. I've had a few people mention that to me in the past, butbive no way to verify

However, having used Mannol gearbox oil for many years without issue, I'd have no hesitation in using it for the engine

That's not an OEM kit...

I just cross checked the part numbers of the one you recommended above and the one i ordered,
