Front diff issue?

Hiya all. I just bought the wife a 2095 range rover sport 2.7 tdv6 and cant understand why ive never owned one before! The wife...jids and obviously my have fallen in love but i have one question....on full steering lock the front wheels scrabble and feels like the front differential is locking? Any ideas? Its 120k with full history and immaculate. Just had new torque converter...recon box and transfer and all fluids? Oh and since i fitted a new battery the oil light on dash is on but has pressure and runs sweet. Am i in for a big bill or ok? Any info appreciated. Thanks....Scott.

Oil light

Disconnect the oil pressure switch. Green thing on top of the passenger side head, at the front.
See if oil light goes off. Reconnect.

Inspect for water leaks on drivers side windscreen A pillar
