L494 gearbox fault

For all those that have had to change the gear selector button switch- what were the symptoms? This morning I had gearbox fault come up, but when restarting it worked ok, this happened once a couple of months ago. Need to read the codes tonight, what code indicates the switch is duff? Anything else it might be? Joined the X5 45e club

Would it not go into gear or was it showing the terrain response gear error?

it showed the D on the dash but came up gearbox fault and wouldn't move. Switched off and restarted a couple of times and it worked fine and changed as it should. Will try and read codes later Joined the X5 45e club

I had a P1707 code which can often be caused by low voltage. I had done a few short journeys and it cleared after the car was running for a few minutes so seems to make sense. Joined the X5 45e club
