Sat no longer showing up after visit to sketch shop

After a visit to an upholstery shop(in a sketch area.) to have the dash recovered, it was there several weeks, I get it back and now there is not an option for the sat! I looked in the back and the sat unit is there, battery cover was off when I got there and things were moved around that I had in the car. I removed all the venting to make it easier to access and had all those in the back seat as well as a car cover in the very back. When I looked in the car some of the vents were in the very back and the car cover was on the back seats. Any ideas to check to see what could be missing? Dealer said they could check it out, 11/2 labor over $300..

Well go into options and set country
Need to do this after battery removed or flat

Are you sure you have a sport model?
Don’t think the sport had sat nav unit in back. Either under seat or built into dash

Thanks Andy, I'll check that out.. We actually used the sirius in the vehicle just recently.. I opened the back up just to check and it was there.. US model, Sport HSE. Display shows Sat, but it's greyed out.

One other odd observance.. I know I had some fuel in it when I dropped it off.. not a lot, but some.. 0 miles when I picked it up. first stop was a gas station, filled it up and it said I had a 220 mile range! I normally have in the high 400's. I've heard that previous driving will determine what that range is. If that is the case, is it possible it was taken out for joy riding at full throttle? Trying to decide whether to get police/insurance involved.

I think it’s just had a flat battery rather than a joy ride

Click above. I know dash is different
Do you have the nav option top left ?

You could disconnect the battery for 30 mins and see if it resets things.

I'm definitely a conspiracy theorist..lol I do have that nav button at top left.. I'll check that and then disconnect battery and ground out the =/-.

It’s with the Sat/Sirius function. Before shop visit it worked fine, after it doesn’t even show up as an option.

To recover the dash I’m assuming the dash had to come out. A LOT of stuff has to be removed to get the dash out. Possibly just an antenna wire on the back of the radio isn’t fully connected or is in the wrong place.

I’m also guessing they disconnected the battery which resets everything, including your fuel range. For the stuff moved around, most shops put all the removed parts in the back of the car to reduce lost parts. They were considerate and used your cover on the back seat and probably had a pile of parts on it with bigger things in the very back, like the center console. I think you went to a decent shop. I bet if you go back and point out the radio issue they’ll remove the unit and check if it’s plugged in/plugged in correctly. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
