England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Rear Right Height Sensor - C1A06-1C

Hi Guys

I have replaced the rear right sensor and continue to get this error. For the moment i'm assuming the new sensor is good

It also seems to correlate with the live values that there is a 5V supply but nothing being received.

I checked the wiring at the connector and it looked good, but will obviously have a closer look.
Is there any other tips anyone can recommend or a wiring diagram i can be pointed at ?

Many Thanks

Assuming the new sensor is okay you will have to look closer at the plug or check the wiring. have you put the multi meter on the connectors have you done continuity test ?

Thanks for reply

I'm assuming there is 5V, GND and Signal, will hunt down wiring diagram to confirm

I'll double check the wiring and also do a continuity check to GND and try and find the +ve 5V. To do continuity for signal, where does the signal go ? is there another plug somewhere or does loom goto direct to ECU ?

To check the new sensor I suppose I can supply 5V and measure the signal for output directly but for now, I'm assuming sensor is good (its brand new)
Thanks

It turns out it was a wiring issue. The yellow wire (+5v) was broken about 1" from the main harness, which meant it was a right pig to splice a new piece of wire on but finally managed to do it.

Ironically, the new LR020161 height sensor didnt work(!) so i put the old one back and its working fine. Not sure if its an incompatibility issue or just a faulty new part (my car is a 2006 2.7)
