2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

hdc fault

hi I've had special programs not available and hdc fault pop on dash twice today first fault read was right rear wheel speed sensor has subfault
net time diagnostic had these codes
battery is all good live diagnostic was showing 14.2v and 12v when it not running

2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Is that code not showing a dodgy brake light switch, which is not uncommon and can cause the HDC to throw a wobbly I believe. Could do with the other two digits that go with that code as there are several that start P0504, although they all suggest a switch failure as one of several possible causes.

thats the only codes it though up second time first was abs sensor showing a sub fault
I'll pop it on diagnostic in the morning and see what code it coming up with

I get this once every 10-18 months. Brake switch is the solution.

hi folks got a rear wheel speed sensor subfault (ABS sensor) I've cleaned the connections and checked for splits in wires but when I removed the sensor from housing I've noticed it has a Grove cut in it

owned p38 before sport so know a bit about these
so question is does the rear hub cut the Grove in to create the air gap needed for the sensor to work or is there something wrong for the hub to be doing this to the sensor

just a update on this
After having good look around found that the dust shield on the half shaft had been put in the wrong way at some point when it had some work done on it
