Electrical issues

Hi everybody

Can anyone PLEASE help with some information (FIX) regarding my brother's 2006 RRS 2.7 the rear left side brake light and front left side headlight flash when he brakes and if he's use's the indicators?

We changed the left rear brake light n left headlight with my 2010 RRS and the problem still existed but put his lights on my RRS they worked fine.

Change the battery for a new one today made no difference.....

Similar problem to this video please see clip

Well assuming it's not a fault with the light unit or the light to car connector?
I guess the easy solution is to run a new wire in from the car. (removing the trim at the side of the boot will reveal earth points) either to check or to connect a new wire in. Unless of course you can find an external earth point. (which maybe a quick fix, but may not last long in the damp), but good to prove the problem
