Your engine size would help. On the 4.2 or 4.4 I can't see any way the alternator bracket could not be removed easily. 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged |

I just did this on a 3.0 TDV6 with ACE and it was pretty easy. The 2.7 TDV6 should be easier since it won’t have the brackets for the secondary turbo to deal with. I’d say three hour job, body on, no problem.
