Alternator Bracket Replacement with ACE on a RRS 2007

Hi, just wondered if anyone has been able to replace the Alternator Bracket where the active suspension is fitted?

My mechanic is saying it looks like a body off job to gain access.

Any feedback appreciated.

Your engine size would help. On the 4.2 or 4.4 I can't see any way the alternator bracket could not be removed easily. 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged

Sorry - engine size is 2.7 TDV6.

Mechanic said without the ACE suspension, it would be easy.

Poland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Fuji White

I just did this on a 3.0 TDV6 with ACE and it was pretty easy. The 2.7 TDV6 should be easier since it won’t have the brackets for the secondary turbo to deal with. I’d say three hour job, body on, no problem.

Just unbolt the ACE pump and let it hang down, then unbolt the alternator and let it hang, five bolts and it’s off. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
Born and raised in So Cal. Moved to the UK in 2018 for a few years. Now in Poland and looking at moving back to the UK.
