Same issue with live traffic here so I apoke to LR. To continue to receive this service you need to subscribe to maps updates. This was referred to earlier in this thread and costs another £89.00. I did subscribe and now have traffic live back again. Next item is to download the latest maps and load into the the sat nav system, haven't got a large enough capacity usb stick so that will wait until tomorrow. Tim

Update to maps applied today, pretty straightforward, download from LR website, 30 minutes, then load into the sat nav system, 30 minutes and done. Tim

Traffic and map updates are not included in the in control subscription I paid £260 for.
Its an extra £89.00 on landcover.here.com

I ended up calling the in control dept as two local main dealers said the live traffic should work as I've paid the £260.
They advised me it was an extra £89 on the above webpage. When I said couldn't connect to the above web page they said I had to do it on a computer not a mobile device.

Just tried to to it on the computer now and it wouldn't let me do it, saying there was a technical issue and to phone customer services if it didn't work.

For such an expensive car its a disgrace that the dealers can't even tell me how to do it as both of them offered to book it in to run a diagnostic. Why the link doesn't work on a mobile device is beyond me and I wouldn't mind if it had said that in the APP.

I think I might just give up and use Waze as I have wasted enough time on this.

You need a valid HERE account to be set up which you already should have if you have been downloading map updates.

The car is just three years old, hence having to renew subscriptions.

An earlier message from Jimbg gave a link to the maps update page. Worked perfectly for me and is OK when I checked it a moment ago. After subscribing for new maps these were downloaded via my PC to a 64mb memory stick and then loaded onto the car's navigation system. Tim

Exactly, when my last car was 3 years old you just went to the map download add coughed up the money to renew and download the maps.

Except that the link doesn’t work on a mobile according to LR. That and the fact the dealership said it was included in the £260 subscription was why I wasn’t getting anywhere for the past 4 weeks.

It’s not for downloads it’s for paying the £89 subscription so I can get traffic info.

Then why not use a laptop or PC to access the site, after all you will have to do that to download the maps. Tim
