Unfortunately according to L/R they are a non-serviceable item, looking at them the end cap would appear to be crimped in and not removable unless machined out, the problem then would be getting replacement parts. Not sure if any aftermarket company is re-conditioning them though.

Also worth remembering that you can get aftermarket bars (OEM might be best) so you don't have to pay LR's insulting prices. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks for the help and the link for exploded diagram of the anti roll bar now I get an idea of what’s physically happening inside (thanks Col). I have a horrible feeling that mine is worn on the splines because the movement I am getting is very free (feels like a loose drive shaft) cheers Garry. |

Nice work Gaz, I think I am starting to see the same issue, I have a set of ARB bushes, was it easy enough to do on the rear? |

Wasn’t too bad to do. I removed the wheel and disconnected the drop link and used a 13mm six side socket 3/8 drive and went as far as I could because the rear bolt is quite close to the body, and finished off with ratchet spanner. Cleaned the bar and refitted. I did greese the bolts as they were dry and a bit rusty when I removed them. Good luck nice little cheap fix. |
