Sidesteps again

My side steps from sidesteps.co.uk arrived today and I have a question, it says in the instructions to make sure you fit the brackets as per the stickers. Unfortunately mine have no stickers so if I put a photo up could anyone that’s fitted them before identify which is which ?

Many thanks and apologies for being a tad thick.

Don’t worry I think I’ve sussed it, in too much of a rush as usual.

Just fitted the same steps to mine and I think they are so much better than some offerings out there as the rubber tread wraps around the edge.

Found them very easy to fit

Hi Sudds
Did you have any problems with the rear brackets I can’t seem to get them to sit close enough to the fixing holes, I’m not sure I’ve got the v shaped bit that came with the bolt already fitted in the right spot

The rear brackets on mine lined up ok, the 2 front holes nearest the sill required the bolts to fit through the bracket and the bolt at the back stayed in the bracket and slid into o hole in the chassis and then clamped up as i tightened the bolt, it does allow the bracket to slide to fit the front bolts.

Just need to ensure once you have fitted the step that as you adjust it up to the sill for a tight fit that the bracket slides up the back of the jacking point.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Sudds
I’ve had another look and think I’ve found the problem, the rear off side bracket is different dimensions to the near side rear bracket

I found their customer support was really good when i had a query. Heather passed on my query to Reece and he phoned me back within 10 minutes to answer my question.

I’ve spoken to Reece and Heather this morning and they are putting a replacement in the post today, I understand things like this happen but the sign of a good company is how they sort a problem out and I must say they are excellent.
