Leaking Dynamic pipes. Can I drive home

Looking for some input please. I am currently camping about 80 miles from home and have sprung a leak in the rear dynamic response pipes near the valve block. Can I drive home? The fluid is just below the minimum, I have 5 litres at home but no real way of getting it to me to top up. It's Saturday afternoon in the middle of the Cairngorms so can't buy any. What damage will be done if it runs dry?

Thanks

You'll run the risk of damaging the ACE pump if you run it without fluid.
About £1400 for a new one.

Didn't want to hear that. I hoped the valve block would shut off and not let fluid through when the pressure/level dropped

If the level is still on the minimum, there is still oil in the system.

The car is seeing a pressure loss via the leaking pipe, then loops out the actuators when it goes into fault mode

I'd run it down the road for a mile and recheck the level. If its still the same, I'd run it down the road and check it every so often

Safest option is to arrange recovery...

Cheers Mike. I've arranged to meet some 20 miles from here in the morning with a gallon of fluid. I'll keep an eye on the level and top off when I have to.
Next thing is find pipes🤣

Made it home. Couple of top ups but must be a slowish leak. Just took my time and it didn't run dry so should be good with just pipes.
Are the front and rear pipes for the 4.2 sc the same as everything else?

Mikey is just down the road from me. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow and have a chat. I am a mechanic so should manage the job, although I thought my days of rolling about in the drive under cars were behind me
